IPMA-HR Central Region President's Welcome

Welcome to the IPMA-HR Central Region website!

I am excited to be your Central Region IPMA-HR President and look forward to the next 24 months. I am hopeful this a time of growth and opportunity for each of our chapters.

IPMA-HR has long been an organization of high professional standards. It’s provision of resources and continued support for professional development in public management has been a direct benefit to me and has inspired me to step forward and become a more active part in the IPMA-HR community.

Our goal as a Central Region Board is to:

  • Continue to support our local chapters and identify opportunities to become more involved.
  • Work with National to initiate outreach efforts and     re-establish Chapters that are no longer active.
  • Determine the needs of public HR professionals/ organizations and center our upcoming Regional Conference on those issues.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve as President of Central Region IPMA-HR for the 2021-2023 calendar years.  Please feel free to contact me any time.

Sincerely,

Jamie Chism, MSOD, IPMA-SCP, SHRM-SCP
